LOL!...Sally, I also prefer the circles on the left! LOL! As for your central circle, have you thought about perhaps putting another pink circle centered on that one? The red touches on the pink would be accented by the outer "edging" of red and might be quite interesting.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08667715646074106309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236789502357650552.post-66181765162643055402013-07-17T15:21:13.548+01:002013-07-17T15:21:13.548+01:00Circles are made with 3 layers of freezer paper. The larger ones are the bottom of my pencil sharpener size, the smaller ones a £1 coin (and I have just made one for the middle out of a 1p coin, a bit smaller). I iron to the wrong side, use a glue stick and then use the end of a small screwdriver or a bodkin to even out the spread of the underturn.Featheronawire Sally Bramaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12724148087746233712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236789502357650552.post-16639304672524977282013-07-17T15:03:26.006+01:002013-07-17T15:03:26.006+01:00My preference is the right, too.

Or how about pushing the blue circles up into the outer curve of the stripy petals?

I think the red in the pink circles looks OK actually. There's similar touches of red in the blue fabric in the centre. Another thing to consider - what's planned for the next part of the applique? The touches of stronger red stop the faded tones of the other fabrics from becoming too washed out while making them look more like genuine faded vintage fabrics than if they were ALL extra pale.Susan Briscoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12478005503421741631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236789502357650552.post-89925377176980620892013-07-17T11:02:35.829+01:002013-07-17T11:02:35.829+01:00Lovely - I vote for the left circles.Lovely - I vote for the left circles.AdyQuiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11178190117349860587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236789502357650552.post-90965203811100810622013-07-17T10:57:00.106+01:002013-07-17T10:57:00.106+01:00Wow this looks amazing, thanks for sharring.
