Yes!!!!!

Two brilliant things have happened at Toad Hall over Christmas.
The best is we have a new member of the family, he is so lovely,
And I found my ribbons!!! All of them, I've counted, 24 were in a drawer in the sitting room, not as exciting as a new dog, but very good news.

  8. Is the hound a 'dogue de Bretagne', or possibly a sharpei?. Has he got a quilt yet?

    All the best for 2012.

    Susan.

  9. Sally, most people mean a puppy when they say they got a new dog. That is definitely NOT a puppy!

  10. Sally I can't believe you have got the same type of dog I had for 10 years !

You are very brave taking on an English Mastiff, they are beautiful creatures with amazing personalities. We regarded ours as our gentle giant. When we took him for walks, we were always stopped...he was beautiful and had so much character. Especially when he learnt how to 'shake hands'.

What an adventure you've started!! Can't wait to see more pics.
