Fliss's Quilt

There are sone fabulous quilts here, but I cannot post photos without the makers consent so tonight you'll have to make do with the quilt I made for my DD (who got her A level grades today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so she'll get to have this one on her wall until she leaves for university in a few weeks.
It's my 2006 Ostrich quilt made for the challenge on BQL.

Ostrich quilts

Jane Western has finished her Ostrich quilt which we did as a challenge on BQL last year. It was a monthly challenge, a bit like a round robin in that you added something each month but like a roosting robin it, you only worked on your own quilt. The Ostrich bit was so you could put your head in the sand and not do a particular round one month if you chose or found the design challenge that month a little in conflict with either your quilt or your skill level. Take a look.

The very last challenge was to do some back art. And this is my back. The quilt is going to the Festival of Quilts next week, so I won't post photos of the front until the show opens on Thursday. (and that might depend on how I sort out internet access from my hotel room).
