Ferret nagged me about seeing the front of the quilt and I hadn't shown it because the quilting wasn't showing up in photos due to light conditions. However yesterday morning the sun streamed into the sitting room whilst the quilt was draped over the back of a chair.
Fun isn't it?
Did you paint/dye the color on their after the quilting? It is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Sally.
ReplyDeleteSally, it is lovelyso stimulating from the colour point of view for a baby.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the parents will appreciate the wonderful quiting!
Lovely, Sally, and the sunlight just makes your quilting pop.
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, ohhhhh....love that!
ReplyDeleteLovely Sally the quilting is spectacular! Hope the baby enjoys it. Sadly this Gran is not quite as clever and our baby may have to put up with a 'stitch in the ditch'quilt. VBG

The quilting is as beautiful as the colors.
ReplyDeleteSally,
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your
wonderful quilting. Having only recently started machine quilting, having previously only hand quilted, I am very much a beginner. Do you mark the feather pattern on your quilt or is it free motion? Any tips would be very welcome. Thanks
See I needed to nag didn't I. I have to admit, I had an idea the front was going to be good. I knew roughly what fabric she was using :)
ReplyDeleteooooh, nice!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely Sally!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful. If someone gave me a quilt like that for my baby I'd decide it was for special occasions only. Baby would be able to admire it tossed on the back of a chair or sofas, but not spit up on it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteSally, this is just SO beautiful! Your quilting is phenomenal. ;o)
