We've stayed in rented accomodation in Kensington twice now. In one of them there was a disgusting sticky goo all over the kitchen shelves as if someone had poured treacle everywhere! The second had mushrooms growing behind the toilet and pigeon droppings just at the entrance of the airvent for the kitchen (amongst other horrors). On the outside wall was a sort of shelf where they roosted! Oh how the other half live! ;)
