Some quilting done

I've been quilting this for ages and don't have much to show for it. It's all stitch in the ditch quilting which I hate doing and it takes time, lots of it. The worst part is it hardly shows on the front at all...
Never mind, tomorrow I'll go round the edge and then I'll have to make the big jump and finally decide on the quilting for the more fun parts of it.

  1. It's not fun but I think the SID work is the most important. It is kind of a zen thing to do too.

  2. Neat idea on the back Sally, I would like to see a close up. I never know what to put on the back of my quilts and I must have 4 at least that I have not named, maybe I need inspiration.

  3. I really like doing ditch quilting. See, if we were all alike it would be a boring world. I love your feathers but I have never done one.

  4. I'm looking forward to the next fun parts which you do so well. I can't for the life of me stay in the ditch when I try to do stitch in the ditch, so I tend not to try any more. I find that I do a lot of crosshatching in the big open parts and some echo quilting here and there. I love feathers, though, and think they are the most fun to do. I do small stipple too.
