Adding a little colour wash to the background
Just thought I'd give it a whirl to see if it would work. I'm quite happy, the more I do the more I like them.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Sally, this is SO not a waste of your time! These are really cool and as you post them, so many things go through my mind to try with them...maybe throw a batting scrap behind for a trapunto layer...forget about the batting scrap and just outline the edges w/invisible thread since the shading you've done is already lovely...I could fantasize about all kinds of ways to play with these!
