Not much to report

We do have the new floor in the conservatory. Done by Merit Flooring from Hartley Whitney. They have done a fabulous job and I could not be better pleased. It shouldn't be unusual to get a company you can rave about but it is. He did it quickly for us, more cheaply than other quotes, clean and tidy, nice chap to have in the house and it was all done in a day. Win! I love this floor!

  1. That does look fantastic, what wood is it? I would love to have a conservatory, but its too hot here, it would be a hot house!

  2. I've awarded you the Liebster award. It's an effort to get readers into little known blogs of note. Details are on my blog: inkythreads.blogspot.ca

  3. Pretty floor. Are we putting quilting in there?

  4. It's oak. Enigineered with a 1/4" of oak on top. It had to be engineered because of the vast temperature and humidity changes in there. It's oiled not varnished so is more forgiving on scratches and things with a mat finish.
