I said I'd show it to you once it was backing from it's 'outing' to the AQS Lancaster show, no ribbons but those who saw it there liked it so all is good. I haven't received any judges feedback, not that I hold a lot of store by these but it's interesting to see what they have to say...
Your quilt is truly amazing in person! We don't get judges comments back from this particular show.

Looks absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt looks super - send it to my house and I'll give you a winners ribbon!
ReplyDeleteI saw your quilt and it was beautiful. I admired the use of the blue thread as it made it possible to see all that wonderful quilting
ReplyDeleteWow. It looks wonderful Sally
ReplyDeleteIt's exquisite, Sally! I wish I could have seen it in person. ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely, Sally. You get a blue ribbon from me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful machine quilting! I too like the blue thread.
ReplyDeleteYour feathers are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to have seen this beauty in person, the feathers are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic Sally. Lovely quilting !
ReplyDeleteI so admire your work. This looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI also love reading the comments that come back (when and if they do...), whether I agree or not is a different matter!
Thank you everyone! AQS Lancaster don't provide judges comments so I'll never know what they thought (grin). At other shows I have won ribbons with a quilt but at the same show a year before have been told the same thread was too fine and the stitches too small......
ReplyDeleteSally your quilting skills constantly astound me, amazingly detailed and beautiful to see. I wish I had seen it in the 'flesh', thanks for the closeup pics,
ReplyDeletecheers,
Margaret
